Just hook the bracket under the front lip of the gutter and then screw the other side of the bracket to the fascia. Obviously the roof sheets do need to extend beyond the roof line slightly so that the water runs into the gutter but in some places the sheets come down so close to the outter face of the gutter that i cannot even get my fingers into the gap.
